Hair loss is a deep and personal journey that affects us all differently. We now have a certified hair and scalp specialist (Trichologist) to help you find your answers. We do a thorough history, and scalp and hair examination. Our first aim is to treat naturally. Where needed we will refer to a doctor or Stylist.

Your privacy matters to us, appointments are spread out so that you can get in and out without bumping into anyone. All your information will be kept private and only shared with fellow professionals upon your request.

Perms, dyes, relaxers are available on our store shelves and they can be dangerous to your hair and scalp health if they are not administered properly. It’s always best to see a professional when using these, but some of us are DIY kings and queens and would rather do things ourselves. This workshop will give you the knowledge and understanding you need to ensure that chemicals are used correctly in your hair, by a professional, a friend or yourself.

The secret of hair growth is not in the product you use. In this workshop we bust some hair growth myths and give you the handles you need to retain length, while hitting realistic hair goals.

Traction alopecia (loss of hair due to tight styles) begins during the childhood years. Tight styles and heavy manipulation, can cost your child their hair in the long run. In this workshop we teach parents and children about healthy hair practices that can be applied at home, whether you are in between hair appointment or looking for handles for you DIY journey. This workshop is P150 per family member.

Not every style is a protective style and one bad style can set you back quite a bit. In this workshop you will learn some basic DIY styles that will protect your hair rather than damage it.

Combs, blow dryers, curling irons and product are all tools for keeping your hair healthy. Hairstylists are trained to use these tools effectively, but we at home are not, which may lead to damage if we are not careful. This workshop is designed to give you an understanding of how to pick the right tools and products for your hair. From ingredients to blow dryer settings, we cover all the basics you need to make healthy hair choices at home.

This workshop is all about locs, the different types, how they grow, how to keep them clean, tools for maintaining them and so much more.  This is for those who have their locs maintained by others and those who would like to install and maintain their locs themselves.

Hair loss (alopecia) can affect just your scalp or your entire body, and it can be temporary or permanent. It can be the result of heredity, hormonal changes, medical conditions or a normal part of aging. Anyone can lose hair on their head, but it’s more common in men.

men's hair health

Men’s hair health is greatly overlooked. This workshop is aimed at giving you understanding of what is going on with your hair and scalp so you can make informed choices. We cover it all from male patterned balding, to shaving bumps, and hair restoration methods.
